Tech is wonderful in speeding up the process of connecting, however the “magic” happens when the true connection is made via a phone call, a cup of coffee or that heart-felt hand written note, (one of my favorite’s BTW!). Social Media is no different than going to a party. Would you wear a big sign around your neck that reads “buy my stuff”? I don’t think so! Go to the “party” and meet people. Chat with them. Get to know them. Wait for that moment when they ask about you and what it is that you do. Then, you will have an opportunity to build that relationship to a whole new level!
